Before you ask.
What if I really need to get out?
Hold Esc for seven seconds and type the phrase on screen. You get one emergency exit a month, three on Pro, and you can buy an extra one for $0.99. Calls on your phone always work.
What still works on my phone?
The dialer, your contacts and emergency calls. Everything else waits until the timer ends.
What happens if I restart?
The lock starts again before you even sign in, with the time that was left. Sleep, signing out and switching users don’t end it either.
Is it safe to install?
The installer is code-signed and every release is submitted to Microsoft Defender. AppTime needs its permissions only to block input, and it never reads what you type. One honest note: Safe Mode is the one place we can’t promise the lock holds.
What do you know about me?
Almost nothing. To issue your license we keep your name, email and Device IDs. If you sync, we store when blocks start and end. No app names, no sites, no content.
How do I get a license?
Download the app and open it to see your Device ID. Send it to us with the Request a license button, and we email you a key. Paste it into the app and you’re set.
Can one license cover my phone and my computer?
Yes. A license can list several devices. Send us each Device ID, and the same license works on your phone and your computer.
Which devices are supported?
Windows 10 and 11, and Android 8 or newer. macOS and iOS are on the way.
